Aitchison College principal's resignation letter to six judges and fertilizer factories

Dear Readers, For the last few days, there has been a big debate in our dear country Pakistan on two issues, whether it is the resignation of the principal of Lahore's chief college i.e. Aitchison College or the issue of the letter of six eminent judges of the country's judiciary.

Written by columnist and senior journalist Jam MD Gaanga

In fact, this is not a matter of a day or two, but a small glimpse of some of the internal stories of the secrets and cover-ups within the institutions, how Pakistan is running, who is running it, by whom and how it is being run. How far the situation of interference within the institutions has reached now. Every time the law is at risk or the country, how the observance of the rules is bypassed and crossed within the bosoms of many officials of many institutions. There are secrets, the problems raised by the six judges in their letter, the concerns and concerns they mentioned, this is the situation of the smell coming out from the thinnest hole of the dangerous lava that is brewing inside. The Honorable Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan has started its work by calling a meeting of the Judicial Council and reviewing the letter in the full court bench. Because of this, we think it is better to refrain from any kind of comment on this. Who is Ahad Cheema, what is he, the people sitting in the houses and the people camping in the wilderness know very well. The story has reached us. She is the wife of Ahad Cheema, a government employee who is transferred from Lahore to Islamabad. She writes a 2024 letter to Michael Thomas, a professor of Aitchison College, a citizen of Streli, saying that I have been transferred to Islamabad, so please give unlimited leave to my children. During the vacation we will not pay the college fee also the names of my children should not be removed which means the seats of my children should be reserved. The principal replied that there is no such policy of the college. Fees are not paid and the principal writes a letter expelling the name of a child from the college. Ahad Cheema's wife contacts the members of the board of governance of the college but they too cannot do anything against the policy. The principal also excludes the name of the other child due to non-payment of college fees. Then Ahad Cheema's wife goes to Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman. who meets the principal but does not do illegal things against the principal's policy. The governor of Punjab is angry about this and writes a letter to the principal asking him to re-enter the names of Ahad Cheema's children and give them leave. The principal refuses to accept this order and resigns and writes that April 1, 2024 will be my last day. Ur Rehman?

Dear readers, Governor of Punjab Mian Balighur Rahman from the former Kingdom of Goddad State Bahawalpur took action against the principal of the college at whose request or on whose order the three-member committee was disorganized or disorganized, powerless or empowered. The interventionist was expedient. We do not know, however, the parties from both sides are adamant that by giving long leave, seats should be reserved for students and fees should not be charged. Finally, how many and which deserving people benefited from it, only the principal can tell better

I am very sure that this fight will never be for Seth Obaidur Rahman's family member Balighur Rahman. If the principal was a Pakistani citizen, then surely when would it have been decided? Because he is an Australian citizen, those who are ready to replace him are now hesitant. According to me, this third problem is also the most important because it is also related to tyranny, lawlessness and Khalq God. Be it Pakistan's major fertilizer companies, Fuji Fertilizer and Fatima Fertilizer, or the sugar mills established in Rahim Yar Khan district, which are in clear violation of environmental laws. Violations have been a daily routine since the beginning till now. There is no one to ask these powerful sugar mills and fertilizer factories to poison the canals by releasing chemically contaminated water or by spreading air pollution and causing diseases to the people living nearby. Cause damage to animals and crops

Despite the laws, no one can spoil them, so what should be called these conditions, apart from the monthly collection, what else does the environment department do, despite the decisions of the high court against the sugar mills, especially the sugar mills of Arvai? Why have the owners not been able to implement the law till date except for filing the files up and down? The first answer to this can only be given by the district captain and deputy commissioner. What are the obstacles or constraints? Well, I do not want to go into too much detail at this time. Even if the fertilizer factories shift their turbines to the river bank, the people have a right to fresh water reservoirs. Of course, this is a huge public and human problem, from which the surrounding areas of the above-mentioned fertilizer factories are severely affected, especially the areas of Ahmedpur Lamah etc., where the fertilizer factories have installed large heavy turbines. Every day thousands of liters of fresh water are being extracted from the ground and taken to the factories due to which the quality of the underground water has changed and the water is not suitable for human consumption. , intestinal and gastrointestinal diseases are at the top, water mixed with arsenic and other toxic materials is behind people's lives after taking away their health. And to what extent is this proposal of Rais Nibal Ahmed is the same as the correct one? I remember that many people of Ahmedpur Lamma have been fighting and shouting for a long time. Khatib-ul-Nabi Shah has been remembered, but who listens to the poor people here, where matters like fee waiver for the children of billionaires from Pakistan's largest and most expensive educational institution are among the priorities of our rulers.

Governor Punjab Mian Balighur Rehman take a stand against the theft of fresh water from fertilizer factories, mobilize all relevant institutions and officials against those who deprive people of fresh drinking water. Yes, fertilizer factories are not above the law, nor are these fertilizer factories more important than public interest and people's lives. But the time has come to speak up and do something against the exploiters and usurpers.
