New Tax Bar Regulation Implements Stricter Measures, President Income Tax Ajmal Sohail Advocates for Professional Standards

Addressing the meeting, President Ajmal Sohail Advocate said that the decision is a new step on the path of improvement and development in the tax bar sector. The bar meeting has decided to ban filing tax returns for non-lawyers. Under this decision, only lawyers and commerce degree holders will be allowed to file tax returns under Section 223 of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001 and other private persons. Taxation work will not be allowed in Kohata Kachhari. FIR will be registered against Legal action will be registered against non-professional with the help of FIR to prevent any non-lawyers from filing tax returns or evasion of legal matters.
