Seminar on Knowledge and Success held at Okara University

اوکاڑہ(جاویدراہی)اوکاڑہ یونیورسٹی میں شعبہ تعلقات عامہ کی جانب سے'علم اورکامیابی' کے موضوع پہ ایک سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا گیا جس میں اوکاڑہ کے نامور سوشل ورکر اور موریلیٹیز تنظیم کے بانی اعجاز علی نے بطور مہمان اسپیکر شرکت کی اس موقع پر شعبہ ابلاغیات کے انچارج ڈاکٹر زاہد بلال، شعبہ سیاسیات کے انچارج عثمان شمیم،شعبہ بین الاقوامی تعلقات کی انچارج فاخرہ شاہد اور شعبہ نفسیات کی انچارج زویا یعقوب اپنے اپنے طلباء کے ہمراہ موجود تھےسیمینار میں ریذیڈنٹ آفیسر ڈاکٹر شہزاد احمد نے بطور مہمان خصوصی شرکت کی مہمان اسپیکر نے  نوجوانوں کے اپنے خوابوں کو پورا کرنے کے لیے مختلف طریقے اور راستے بتائے انہوں نے طلباء کو اس بات کی ترغیب دی کہ وہ منفی رویے چھوڑ کے اپنی خوابیدہ صلاحیتوں کو پہچانیں اور انہیں بروئے کار لائیں انہوں نے اس بات پہ زور دیا کہ علم کے علاوہ کامیابی کا اور کوئی چور راستہ نہیں انہوں نے طلباء کو کتاب بینی کی عادت اپنانے پہ اکسایا ایک حالیہ سروے کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے انہوں نے بتایا کہ جنوبی ایشیا کے باسی سال میں ایک کتاب

پڑھتے ہیں جبکہ مغربی ممالک کے باشندے سال میں اوسط پینتیس کتب کا مطالعہ کرتے ہیں اور یہ ہی ان کی ترقی کا راز ہے اعجاز علی کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ مذہب اور منطق کا مضبوط اور مربوط تعلق ہی مسلم امہ کے لیے کامیابی کا راستہ ہے کیونکہ قرآن غور و فکر اور منطقی علم کی ترغیب دیتا ہے انہوں نے طلباء کو اپنے اپنے شعبہ جات میں تحقیق اور جدت کے راستے کو اپنانے کی بھی ترغیب دی

Seminar on ‘Success Through Knowledge’ Held at UO

A seminar themed as ‘The Way to Success Through Knowledge’ was held at the University of Okara. The event was organized by the Public Relations Department. The renowned motivational speaker of Okara and the founder of Moralities, Ejaz Ali delivered a lecture to the students of Communication Studies, Political Science, International Relations and Psychology. 

The In-charge Communication Studies Dr. Zahid Bilal, In-charge Political Science Usman Shamim, In-charge International Relations Fakhra Shahid and In-charge Psychology Zoya Yaqub were also present at the event. The Resident Officer Dr. Shehzad Ahmed attended the seminar as Chief Guest. 

The Guest Speaker, in the interactive session, discussed various ways and tips that could lead the youth to accomplish their dreams and goals. He also motivated the students to shun the negative behaviors and focus on identifying and manifesting their inherent skills. 

He was of the view that there was no shortcut to success expect knowledge. He urged the students to adopt the habit of book reading. Quoting a recent survey, he revealed that the ratio of book reading in South Asian was less than one book per year while it was about 35 in the west. 

Ejaz Ali argued that the road to success for the Muslim world was creating a perfect coherence between religion and logic as the Holy Quran had deeply focused on empirical knowledge and meditation. He also goaded the students to resort to research and innovation in their relevant fields and disciplines
