کراچی(نیشن آف پاکستان نیوز) صارفین کا اعتماد ہمیشہ مصنوعات کے فروغ کا باعث ہوتا ہے اور اس اعتماد کو صرف معیارات کے ذریعے ہی حاصل کیا جاسکتا ہے ان خیالات کا اظہار ڈائریکٹرجنرل، پاکستان اسٹینڈرڈز اینڈ کوالٹی کنٹرول اتھارٹی(پی ایس کیو سی اے) عبدالعلیم میمن نے ورلڈ اسٹینڈرڈز ڈے 2020 " سیاروں کو معیارات کے مطابق تحفظ دینا "کے موضوع پر منعقدہ سیمینارمیں کیا جو کہ آج پی ایس کیو سی اے ہیڈ آفس،کراچی میں منعقد ہوا۔ اس سیمینار کا مقصد پاکستان میں کوالٹی اسٹینڈرڈز کے شعور کا فروغ تھا 51 ویں عالمی معیار کے دن کے موقع پر سیمینار کے مہمان خصوصی ڈائریکٹرجنرل ،پی ایس کیو سی اے عبدالعلیم میمن نے کہا کہ معاشی ترقی ایک ساتھ بڑھتی ہے کیونکہ معیارات کے بغیر زیادہ سے زیادہ ترقی حاصل نہیں کی جا سکتی اور میں جانتا ہوں کہ این ایس سی پہلے سے ہی اس سلسلے میں پاکستان کے معیارات پر کام کررہی ہے اس کے علاوہ، خاص طور پر پاکستان کے حوالے سے بین الاقوامی معیارات ایک اہم عنصر ہے جس سے کاروبارکو دنیا میں پذیرائی ملتی ہے۔انھوں نے مزید کہا کہ بین الاقوامی تجارت کے بدلتے حالات کو دیکھتے ہوئے عالمی سطح پر مارکیٹ میں مصنوعات کے تکنیکی معیارہی قابل قبول ترقی پاسکیں گے بین الاقوامی سطح پر ویڈیو معیارات نئے عالمی تجارتی نظام کا حصہ بن رہے ہیں انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی صنعتیں بین الاقوامی معیارات کی تازہ ترین ترقی کے بارے میں باخبر رہیں اور ماہرین پی ایس کیو سی اے کے معیارات بنانے والی کمیٹیوں میں شامل ہوں۔انہوں نے ٹیکنیکل کمیٹی کے چیئرمینوں کی کوششوں کو سراہا۔سیمینار کے دوران ڈائریکٹر جنرل ،پی ایس کیو سی اے عبدالعلیم میمن نےٹیکنیکل کمیٹی کے چیئرمینوں کو اسناد سے نوازا۔

Karachi: Confidence of the consumer is always proportionate to safety and reliability of a product and this confidence can only be achieved through standardization said Mr. Abdul Aleem Memon Director General, Pakistan Standards & Quality Control Authority (PSQCA). In the Seminar of 51st World Standards Day 2020 on topic “Protecting the Planet with Standards” which was held at PSQCA Head office-Karachi organized by Pakistan Standards & Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) The objective of the seminar was to promote quality standards culture in Pakistan. Mr. Abdul Aleem Memon Director General, PSQCA was the Chief Guest in the Seminar on the occasion of 51st World Standards Day. In his speech he acknowledged the fact that industrialization, standardization and economic growth grow together as without Standardization optimum growth cannot be achieved. Moreover, International Standards especially with regards to Pakistan is one single important factor that could direct/channelize the entire outlook of business.

He welcomed all the guests for their presence and active participation to make this seminar success. He acknowledged the contribution of Chairmen of NSCs. He further said that the changing face of international video standards has led to single, globally acceptable technical standards for globally marketable products. At the international level, standards are becoming a pillar of the new global video system. He said that I urge Pakistani companies to remain vigilant about the latest developments of international standards and get involved with PSQCA. I am very much hopeful that Standardization with the collaborative efforts of the public and private sectors has maintained its dedication by bringing positive changes to this activity every year. 

After the seminar certificates were distributed by Mr. Abdul Aleem Memon Director General, PSQCA to Chairmen of NSCs in recognition of their services in formulation of National Standards.
