یکم جون کو دوپہر ایک بجے شمس آباد راولپنڈی میں دوست کے ہوٹل سے نکل کر کمرے کی جانب گیاارادہ تھا کہ شدید گرمی کی وجہ سے چند گھنٹوں بعد نیشنل پریس کلب اسلام آباد جاؤں گا تقریباً دو بجے کے قریب اچانک بادل چھا گئے،تیز ہوا اور بجلی کی ہیبت ناک کڑک نے سب کچھ ہی بدل ڈالا تب کہیں نہ جانے کا ارادہ کر لیا مگر ایک انتہائی ضروری کام کی وجہ سے چند قدم دور مارکیٹ جانا پڑا،اس وقت بوندا باندی اور تیز ہواچل رہی تھی کہ اچانک اس قدر خوفناک آواز سے آسمانی بجلی کڑکی کہ میں کیا وہاں کھڑا ہر شخص دہل کر رہ گیا تب میری سوچ میں یہ بات آئی کہ نہ جانے ایسی صورتحال کہاں قیامت صغریٰ برپا کرے گی مگر وہی اندیشہ اس وقت درست ثابت ہوا جب مغرب کے بعدوہاں سے 5سو کلومیٹر دور طوفان نے ایک پورے خاندان کو نگل لیا،یہ طوفان راولپنڈی اسلام آباد سے مغرب جانب ٹیکسلا سائیڈ سے گذرا اور تباہی مچاتا ہوا ضلع اوکاڑہ میں میرے شہر تاریخی قصبہ صدر گوگیرہ میں جا پہنچا یہاں طوفان کی شدت کئی گنا مزید بڑھ چکی تھی میرے آبائی گھر سے محض دس منٹ کی مسافت پرمقصود احمد نامی محنت کش کے گھر میں ایک ہی خاندان کے بڑے چھوٹے کھیل رہے تھے کچھ عورتیں چھت پر تندوری میں روٹیاں لگانے میں مصروف تھیں کہ اس دوران تیز رفتار طوفان نے پورے علاقے کیا ضلع اوکاڑہ و دیگر ملحقہ اضلاع کو اپنی لپیٹ میں لے لیا ساتھ ہی بارش بھی برسنے لگی،طوفان کی وجہ سے بد قسمت خاندان کے کچھ افراد جلدی جلدی میں چھت سے نیچے اترے،چھت سے نیچے اترتے وقت ایک لڑکی سیڑھیوں سے گر گئی تب بارش اور زخمی لڑکی وجہ سے سبھی افراد ایک ہی کمرے میں داخل ہو گئے،بس یہ وہ چند لمحے ہی تھے جس کا فرشتہ موت کو انتظار تھا،قسمت کی بد نصیبی دیکھیں کی چند روز قبل اس گھر کے پڑوسی نے اپنا گھر گرایا تو ان کی چھت سے ملحقہ دیوار بھی وہ گرانے لگا تو لقمعہ اجل بن جانے والے خاندان کے سربراہ نے نہ صرف پڑوسی کو دیوار نہ گرانے پر راضی کر لیا بلکہ اس دیوار میں لگنے والی اینٹوں کی رقم تک ادا کر دی اس کا ذہن تھا کہ یہ دیوار ایسے کھڑی رہے تاکہ میں او پر کمرہ بنا لوں گا، حالانکہ وہ رہائشی نہیں بلکہ ابدی کمرے کا سودا کر رہا تھا،طوفان کی شدت وہی دیوار برداشت نہ کر سکی اور اس کمرے کی چھت پر جا گری جس میں اس وقت یہ خاندان ڈرابیٹھا تھا،چھت پر دیوار گرنے کے ساتھ ہی چھت بھی زمین بوس ہو گئی
یہ چھوٹا سا کمرہ تب موت کی وادی کی شکل اختیار کر گیا،چھت گرنے سے کمرے میں ہر چیز تہس نہس ہو گئی سوائے سامان رکھنے والی اس پیٹی کے جس پر خدا عظیم کی عظیم کتاب قران مجید پڑا تھا نہ صرف وہ پیٹی محفوظ رہی بلکہ ایک معصوم سی بچی کسی طرح اس کے نیچے چلی گئی جسے خراش تک نہ آئی الراقم نے خود اس محفوظ پیٹی کو دیکھا اور بچی کو ملااس کمرے میں اس وقت صرف وہی دو چیزیں تھیں جو ہر لحاظ سے محفوظ رہیں،طوفان کی شدت اوربارش کے باعث ہر فرد ڈرا،سہما اور خدا کے حضور دعا گو تھاساتھ والوں کو بھی فوری پتہ نہیں چلا کہ ساتھ کس عفریت نے پورے خاندان کو دبوچ لیا ہے،اس دوران دھماکے آواز آنے پر ایک نوجوان نے ہمت کی اور دیکھا تو وہاں سب قیامت صغریٰ برپا ہو چکی تھی اسی نوجوان نے دوڑتے ہوئے چیخ چیخ کر لوگوں کو اس بہت بڑے سانحہ سے متعلق بتایا،لوگ وہاں پہنچے تو وہاں لاشوں کا ڈھیر لگ چکاتھا،کل بارہ چھوٹے بڑے افراد میں سے 8افراد جان سے ہاتھ دھو بیٹھے قران مجید کے سائے تلے بچنے والی بچی کے سوا دیگر بچنے والوں میں سے کسی کا بازوکسی کی ٹانگ ٹوٹ گئی،چھت پرسے گرنے والے لوہے کے گاڈر یو کی شکل اختیار کر گئے یہ خبرلمحہ بھر میں پورے شہر میں پھیل گئی طوفان کے باعث اورسڑکوں پر درخت گرنے کے باعث ریسکیو ٹیمیں بمشکل وہاں پہنچیں تیز ہوا،بارش اور اندھیرے کی وجہ سے یہ ریکسیو آپریشن تین گھنٹے تک جاری رہاجس میں مقامی اور اوکاڑہ سے آنے والی ٹیموں نے حصہ لیا، یہ سانحہ مقصود کے گھر پیش آیا جس میں اس کی والدہ عالاں بی بی اور بھابھی رانی بی بی،پڑوسی محمد سلیم کے تین بچوں میں دو بیٹے وارث علی،حارث علی اور بیٹی تنزیلہ،محمد مشتاق کی بیٹی اور ندیم احمدکی بیوی شگفتہ،نذیر احمد ولد شریف کی بیوی ظہراں بی بی اور بیٹا ضامن رضا لقمعہ اجل بن گئے جبکہ عظمیٰ،اقراء اور افشاں زخمی ہوئے اور قرآن مجید کی برکت سے بچنے والی مقصود احمد کی بیٹی کرن بی بی جسے خراش نہ آئی،اس نوعیت کا یہ کربناک سانحہ علاقہ کی تاریخ میں پہلی مرتبہ پیش آیا،صبع جب ایک ہی جگہ سے اکٹھی 8میتوں کو اٹھایا گیا تووہ منظر اس قدر رقت آمیز کہ ہر شخص اشکبار تھا،جنازہ میں شرکت کرنے والوں کی تعداد اس قدر زیادہ تھی کہ اوکاڑہ فیصل آباد مین روڈ پر ایک کم از کم ایک کلومیٹر فاصلہ تک صفیں بن گئیں،ہمارے شہر کا قبرستان شہر کے شمال مشرق میں ہے اور کسی بھی میت کی تدفین کے لئے اسے شہر میں سے گذارانا پڑتا ہے جب یہ آٹھ لاشے ایک ساتھ قبرستا ن لے جائے گئے تو پورے راستے میں چھتوں پر،نیچے عورتوں،بچوں اور بڑوں کی بکاہ کا وہ ناقابل فراموش منظر تھا جسے جنہوں نے دیکھا تو وہ اپنی آنے والی نسلوں کو بھی بتائیں گے کہ ہم نے کیسی قیامت دیکھی،میں پریس کلب کے جنرل سیکرٹری کاشف مغل اور ممبر احمد حسن کلاسن کے ساتھ تعزیت کے لئے ان کے پاس گیا تو الفاظ بھی ساتھ چھوڑ گئے انہیں کیا کہوں ان سے کیسے تعزیت کروں اور وہ سب بھی اس وقت تک سکتے کے عالم میں تھے کہ یہ آنے والاطوفان کیسے موت کا لشکر بن کر انہیں روندنے اور تہس نہس کرنے آن پہنچا انہیں یہی کہا کہ بچھڑنے والے سب شہداء تھے ان کے درجات کی بلندی کے لئے دعا کرتے ہیں
سوچتا ہوں وہ لمحہ کیسا ہو گاجب وہ نہ بھاگ سکے،نہ مدد کے لئے پکار سکے،نہ کوئی مدد کے لئے ان تک پہنچا،جانے والے لمحہ بھر میں سب کوچھوڑ کر،خاندان سمیت سارے شہر کو رلا کر چلتے بنے،یہ بہت بڑا سانحہ ہے اسی طوفان کی نذر میرے ہی شہر کا ایک اور نوجوان یوسف بھی ہواجس کی موت درخت گرنے سے ہوئی جو طوفان سے بچنے کے لئے اسی درخت کا سہارا لے کر کھڑا تھا،میں اس سانحہ کے تین دن بعدتک اسلام آباد راولپنڈی رہاکیونکہ سفر زیادہ ہونے پر بر وقت نہیں پہنچ سکتا تھامگر وہاں جدھر بھی گیا جہاں بھی کوئی بات ہوئی اسی سانحہ سے متعلق ہی ہوئی،جس خاندان کے افراد اس طوفان کی وجہ سے شہید ہوئے ہیں وہ ایک محنت کش خاندان ہے محنت مزدوری یا دیگرکام کر کے روزی کمانے والا،یہ انتہائی ضروری تھاکہ اس واقعہ کے بعدضلعی انتظامیہ یا پنجاب سے کوئی حکومتی عہدیدار، ان کی نمازہ جناز ہ میں شامل ہوتاغموں سے چور اس خاندان کی ڈھارس بندھاتامگر ایسا نہیں ہواٹھنڈے ٹھاڑ کمروں میں بیٹھنے والے بھلا ہم جیسوں کے لئے کب نکلتے ہیں چاہے اس سے بڑھ کر ہی قیامت کیوں نہ برپا ہو جائے،ساری حکومتی مشینری نے اس کربنانی میں سفاکیت کی انتہا کر دی ہے ان کا رویہ شرمناک اور انسانی اقدار کے برعکس ہے،کچھ بڑے لوگ وہاں ضرورپہنچے جوحکومت کو جھنجوڑ سکتے تھے،کئی مخیر حضرات نے بھی باتوں کے کار خیر میں حصہ ڈالاوہاں پہنچے دعا کی،وعدے وعید کئے،یہ تحریر لکھتے وقت ایک دوست نے بتایا کہ اوکاڑہ کے صنعتکار و سابق امیدوار قومی اسمبلی چوہدری خلیل الرحمان نے ان کو گھر بنوا کر دینے کا کام شروع کروایا ہے،پی ٹی آئی کی ضلعی قیادت نے بھی وہاں پہنچ کر مدد کا وعدہ کیا،ڈپٹی سپکیر قومی اسمبلی قاسم سوری کے بھائی عزیز احمد خان اتفاق سے کسی نجی مصروفیت کی بنا پر اوکاڑہ آئے ہوئے تھے وہ بھی وہاں پہنچے جنہوں نے گوگیرہ پریس کلب رجسٹرڈ صدر گوگیرہ سے تعلق رکھنے والے صحافیوں سے وعدہ کیا کہ وہ غم سے چکنا چور اس خاندان کی ہر ممکن مدد کریں گے،کسی نے مکان بنا کر دینے کی بات کسی نے کچھ کہا کسی نے کچھ،آج کے دن بھی وہ خاندان باہر اپنی گلی میں رات گذاراتا ہے،گذشتہ دسمبر میں ہمارے شہر کے اصل مسیحااسلام آباد گروپ آف کمپنیز کے مینجنگ ڈائریکٹر و سابق مرکزی چیرمین پاکستان پولٹری ایسوسی ایشن ڈاکٹر محمد اسلم جو نہ صرف اپنے آبائی شہر،پورے ضلع اوکاڑہ بلکہ راولپنڈی اسلام آباد میں بھی کبھی کسی فلاحی کام ے پیچھے نہیں ہٹے تھے وہ بھی ہمیں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لئے چھوڑ گئے ورنہ اس خاندان کو نہ کسی حکومتی امداد کی ضرورت ہوتی نہ کسی اور شخص کے وعدوں کی،سب سے پہلے ضلعی انتظامیہ کا کردار قابل مذمت ہے اور پنجاب حکومت کابھی جو اس اہم ترین واقعہ جو قومی میڈیا پر پل پل کی خبریں دیتا رہا سے غافل رہی
کسی بڑے کا تو ایک بھی فرد کسی واقعہ میں جان سے چلا جائے تو پوری حکومتی مشینری خلائی جہاز کی طرح حرکت میں آ جاتی ہے،مگر یہ غریب لوگ تھے،محنت کش تھے،بے سہارا تھے،ان کا معاشرے میں کوئی اعلیٰ مقام نہیں تھے مگر تھے وہ بھی انسان اور مسلمانیت سب سے پہلے ہمیں انسانیت کاہی درس دیتی ہے مگر یہاں بے حسی اور بے غیرتی اقتدار کے حامل کرداروں کی نس نس میں بھری پڑی ہے، طوفان کی زد میں آکر ایک ہی خاندان کے8کی ہلاکت پر ان کی آنکھیں اندھی،کان بہرے اور انسانیت ختم،کاش ہمارے ضلع کا ڈپٹی کمشنر ہی وہاں پہنچ کر متاثرہ خاندان کو دلاسہ دیتا آگے صوبائی حکومت کو ہی رپورٹ کر دیتا ممکن ہے اس نے دفتر بیٹھ کر ہی کرپورٹ کی بھی ہو مگر کیا ضلع کے بادشاہ سلامت کا صرف یہی کام ہے کہ وہ اے سی میں بیٹھ کر سب کام کرے بس سب کچھ آفس تک ہی محدود ہے؟ہمارے صوبائی وزراء بھی بے حد مصروف ہوتے ہیں کوئی غریب مر جائیں،ان کا سارا خاندان موت کی وادی تلے چلا جائے لٹ پٹ جائیں مگر وہ بے خبر ہی رہتے ہیں،اپنوں کومنوں مٹی تلے دبانے ورثاء کی ذہنی کیفیت کیا ہو گی؟وہ کس اذیت سے دوچار ہوں گے؟ ان کی باقی زندگی اپنوں کے بغیر کتنی بے معنی ہو گی؟ ذراتصور تو کر یں؟مگر ایسا تصور بھی کوئی انسان ہی کر سکتا ہے۔

He was planning to go to National Press Club Islamabad in a few hours due to extreme heat. Gone, the strong wind and the terrible thunder of lightning changed everything, then I decided not to go anywhere but due to an urgent task I had to go a few steps away to the market, at that time it was drizzle and strong wind that suddenly Lightning struck with such a terrifying sound that everyone standing there was stunned. Then it occurred to me that I don't know where such a situation will take place, but the same fear proved to be true when I left the West. 500 km away the storm swallowed an entire family. The storm passed through Taxila side west of Rawalpindi Islamabad and reached the historic town of Saddar Gogira in my city in Okara district. The intensity of the storm had increased many times. Just ten minutes away from my ancestral home in the house of a laborer named Maqsood Ahmed, big and small farm of the same family Some women were busy putting bread in the tandoori on the roof when a strong storm swept across the area, engulfing Okara district and other adjoining districts. It also started raining. The unfortunate family was affected by the storm. Some people hurried down from the roof, a girl fell down the stairs while descending from the roof, then due to rain and injured girl, all the people entered the same room, these were just a few moments whose angel of death I was waiting for the misfortune to see that a few days ago the neighbor of this house demolished his house, then the wall adjacent to his roof also started to collapse, then the head of the family who died became not only the neighbor but also did not demolish the wall. He agreed and even paid for the bricks in the wall. He thought that the wall would stand so that I would make room for him, even though he was not a resident but was bargaining for an eternal room. The same wall could not stand the intensity and fell on the roof of the room in which the family was sitting at that time. As soon as the wall fell on the roof, the roof also fell to the ground.
The small room then turned into a valley of death, the roof collapsed and everything in the room was destroyed except for the luggage belt on which the great book of God, the Holy Quran, was lying. Innocent little girl somehow went under it which was not scratched. Al-Raqeem himself saw this safe belt and the girl had only two things in the room at that time that were safe in all respects, due to the intensity of the storm and the rain. Fear, fear and supplication to God, even those who were with him did not immediately know which monster has engulfed the whole family. Meanwhile, a young man dared to hear the sound of an explosion and saw that the Hour of Judgment would take place there. The same young man ran and screamed and told the people about this great tragedy. When the people reached there, there were piles of corpses. A total of 8 out of 12 people lost their lives to escape under the shadow of the Holy Quran. Except for the girl, one of the survivors' arm was broken, and the iron gadder that fell from the roof took the form of a U-turn. Due to the storm and the falling of trees on the roads, rescue teams could hardly reach there. Due to heavy rains and darkness, the rescue operation lasted for three hours in which local and Okara teams took part. The house was occupied by his mother Alan Bibi and sister-in-law Rani Bibi, two sons Waris Ali, Haris Ali and daughter Tanzeela, three children of neighbor Muhammad Saleem, daughter of Muhammad Mushtaq and wife of Nadeem Ahmad Shagufta, Nazir Ahmad son of Sharif. Wife Zahran Bibi and son Zaman Raza Luqma were killed while Uzma, Iqra and Afshan were injured and Maqsood Ahmed's daughter Karan Bibi, who escaped from the blessings of the Holy Quran, was not harmed. For the first time, when 8 bodies were picked up from the same place in the morning, the scene was so gruesome that everyone was shocked. The number of people attending the funeral was so high that at least one person was killed on Okara-Faisalabad main road. Rows are formed for a kilometer, our city cemetery is in the northeast of the city and for the burial of any corpse it has to be passed through the city.
When these eight bodies were taken to the graveyard together, it was an unforgettable sight of women, children and adults on the roofs all the way down, and those who saw it would tell their future generations that we I went to the General Secretary of the Press Club Kashif Mughal and Member Ahmed Hassan Klaassen to offer condolences. The words were left behind. What can I say to them? They were in the world of how this coming storm became an army of death and came to trample and destroy them. He said that all those who escaped were martyrs and prayed for the elevation of their ranks. I wonder what that moment will be like. He could not run away, he could not call for help, no one reached out to him for help, he left everything in an instant and left the whole city, including his family, crying. This is a great tragedy. Joseph, another young man from the city, died when a tree fell on him.
I stayed in Islamabad and Rawalpindi for three days after this tragedy because I could not reach on time due to long journey. Wherever I went, wherever there was talk, it was about the same tragedy. The family members who were martyred due to this storm A working family is a laborer who earns a living by doing hard work or other work. It was very important that after this incident, a district administration or a government official from Punjab would join in their funeral prayers. The thief would tie the knot of this family with grief but it did not happen. When do those who sit in the rooms go out for people like us, even if the Day of Judgment comes, the whole government machinery has gone to extremes in this carnage. Their attitude is shameful and contrary to human values.
Elders must have arrived there to shake the government, many philanthropists also contributed to the cause of good deeds, prayed, made promises, while writing this, a friend said that Okara industrialist and former National Assembly candidate Chaudhry Khalil-ur-Rehman Has started building houses for them, PTI district The leadership also reached there and promised help. Aziz Ahmad Khan, brother of Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri, had come to Okara by chance due to some private engagement. He also reached there who met Gogira Press Club registered President Gogira. He promised the journalists that he would help this family as much as possible.
Someone talked about building a house. Someone said something. Someone said something. Even today, the family spends the night outside in their street. In December, Dr. Muhammad Aslam, Managing Director of the original Messiah Islamabad Group of Companies and former Central Chairman of Pakistan Poultry Association, who never backed down from any charity work not only in his hometown, Okara District but also in Rawalpindi Islamabad. They also left us forever, otherwise this family would not need any government help or any other person's promises. Our provincial ministers are also very busy. Some poor people die, their whole family goes to the valley of death, but they remain unaware, their heirs are buried under the dust. What will be the state of mind? What pain will they suffer? How meaningless would the rest of their lives be without their loved ones? Can you imagine particles?
