Weather Update: Rain, Thunder, and Hail Expected in Multiple Regions of Pakistan

The weather forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday indicates the possibility of rain accompanied by thunder and hail in various regions of Pakistan. In the past 24 hours, gusty winds and thundershowers were observed in Northeast/West Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir, while other regions of the country remained dry.

On Tuesday, the weather forecast suggests a possibility of rain accompanied by thunder and hail at various locations in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Lower and East Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, and Kashmir. Some places may experience heavy rainfall during this time. Additionally, there is a chance of rain, storms, and thundershowers in parts of Sindh.


Wednesday's Weather Outlook:

For Wednesday, there is a similar forecast of rain accompanied by thunder and hailstorms in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, and Kashmir. Like Tuesday, heavy rainfall is expected in certain areas during this period.

Recent Weather Conditions:

In the last 24 hours, Northeast/West Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir witnessed gusty winds and thundershowers. However, the rest of the country experienced dry weather conditions.

Balochistan: Zhob received 30mm, Dalbandin 11mm, Barkhan 10mm, and Quetta 01mm.

Sindh: Mithi recorded 27mm, Hyderabad 13mm, Chhoor 11mm, Shaheed Benazirabad 09mm, Larkana 06mm, Dadu, Padaidan 05mm, Skrand, Mirpur Khas 04mm, Tando Jam 02mm, and Jacobabad, Mohenjodaro 01mm.

Punjab: Rahim Yar Khan received 24mm, Kot Addu 22mm, Khanpur 17mm, Dera Ghazi Khan, Narowal 11mm, Murree 03mm, Faisalabad 02mm, and Rawalpindi (Kachhari 03mm, Chaklala 02mm, Shamsabad 01mm), Mangala, Gujarat, Kasur, Multan (Airport), Sialkot (Airport), Islamabad (Bokra) 01mm.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Balakot witnessed 22mm, Malam Jabba 19mm, Kakul 09mm, Patan, Mardan 03mm, Mirkhani 02mm, and Chitral, Charat, Darosh 01mm.

Kashmir: Rawala Ko T05 experienced 02mm of rain, while Muzaffarabad (Airport) received a similar amount.

Maximum Recorded Temperature:

Today, the highest recorded temperatures were observed in Nokundi, Dalbandin, and Turbat, reaching 40 degrees Celsius, while Panjgur recorded 38 degrees Celsius.
